At Tracelync, we treat your infrastructure metadata with the same rigor you apply to your production environment.

1. Data Sovereignty First

Unlike proprietary SaaS vendors, our business model is built on consulting and architectural excellence. We do not monetize your telemetry profiles. In any engagement, your data stays within your VPC.

Note to SREs: Tracelync does not "ingest" your production logs. We provide the blueprint; you keep the keys.

2. Information Collection

We collect only what is technically necessary to provide our services:

  • Professional Identity: Work emails used to deliver the Technical Blueprint.
  • ROI Input Data: Metadata (ingestion rates, host counts) provided to our calculators.
  • Security Headers: Standard logs for rate-limiting and DDoS protection.

3. Encryption & Access

All communications with Tracelync are encrypted via TLS 1.3. We advocate for and implement mTLS (Mutual TLS) for all telemetry pipelines to ensure zero-trust security between your OTel Collectors and backends.

4. GDPR & SOC2 Alignment

We respect the right to be forgotten. If you wish to purge your infrastructure profile from our systems, email privacy@tracelync.com.
